Ehab Badwi is a Founder and Director of the Syrian Youth Assembly and Young Global Citizens Assembly e.V., he has led global initiatives in education and peacebuilding that have positively impacted over 200,000 youth worldwide.
With more than ten years of experience in youth empowerment and advocacy, he has represented young people in various international forums, including the United Nations and the World Organization of the Scout Movement, contributing to the development of international strategies within the global Youth, Peace, and Security agenda.
🎓 He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bard College (USA), a Master’s degree in Governance and Policy from the University of Potsdam (Germany), and is a PhD candidate in the same field at Potsdam.
🌱 A Syrian-German citizen, he is active in promoting political and social participation for refugees at both local and international levels. His work has empowered thousands of Syrian youth to access higher education, guided them through academic and educational programs offered by international universities and institutes, and supported youth empowerment and employment initiatives. These programs have delivered an estimated 3.5 million study hours, benefiting thousands of young people globally.
