Bryan Reynolds

 🎓Bryan Reynolds (PhD Harvard University) is Distinguished Professor, Chancellor’s Professor, and Claire Trevor Professor of Drama at the University of California, Irvine, and the Artistic Director of the Amsterdam-based Transversal Theater Company.

He is the author or editor of over a dozen books on subjects ranging from critical theory and methodologies to performance studies, most recently, Art Beyond the Edge: Creativity and Conflict in a World on Fire (UC Press, 2026).

As an artist, his plays and musicals have been produced at over 75 venues in 20 countries in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
