
Alexander A. Farley
Alexander A. Farley is an analyst and researcher with a decade of experience working on the Middle East and North Africa, where he specializes in the intersection of development, labor, education, and entrepreneurship. Until recently he was the senior staff associate for the Middle East Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a think tank in Washington, D.C. founded by the U.S. Congress to connect the work of academic scholarship to policymakers.
He has published numerous studies and op-eds for the Wilson Center and served as chief editor of research and publications for the program. In addition, he has spoke on his expertise in international conferences in Tunis, Erbil, and Doha.
Today he works as an independent consultant where he advises on organizational development and management for non-profits in the knowledge economy. He previously lived in Morocco and Jordan and is proficient in Arabic and French.
