Nada Ghneim

Nada Ghneim holds a PhD in Language Sciences (Speech Communication) from Université Stendhal, France (1997), and a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA) in Robotics, Vision, and Imaging from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Grenoble, France (1993).

She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Communications, Arab International University, and also lectures at the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology, Damascus University, and the Syrian Virtual University.

She has authored and co-authored more than 60 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and workshops in the fields of artificial intelligence, natural language processing (text and speech), image processing, and related areas.

She has also worked as a consultant and researcher on projects with several international organizations, including ALECSO, ESCWA, UNDP, GTZ, ITU, and the EU Framework Programs FP6-7.
