Ghaith Warkozek

Dr. Eng. Ghaith Warkozek holds a PhD in the Application of Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Electric Grid Systems from Grenoble University, France (2011). He obtained his M.Sc. in Electrotechnical Engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology (INPG), France (2007), a Diploma in Electrical Power Systems (2005), and a B.Sc. in Electric Power Engineering (2004) from the Faculty of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Syria.

His main research interests focus on energy management in integrated systems and smart grids. He is the co-author of the industrial software G-HomTech (patented in 2009) for energy management. Since 2012, he has been a Lecturer at Damascus University, where he currently serves as the Director of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies (since 2021).

He has published over 30 scientific papers on energy management techniques and tools, and he supervises three PhD students at Damascus University.
